From Piccolos to Saxophones
I offer a full range of services on piccolos, flutes, clarinets and saxophones. An annual service helps to keep everything moving as it should.
Every instrument is treated to a deep clean inside and out, rods, screws and keys are all cleaned to remove all the old oil deposits and every moving part is lubricated. If the mouthpiece is with it that gets a good clean too. Pads are checked and cleaned, leather pads are fed to maintain flexibility. The instrument is checked for any leaks and regulated.
I have a good inventory of most common size parts and can usually have your instrument back to you in a couple of days.
From Air Leaks to Straightening
Whilst not an exhaustive list, I offer all of the following services:

Full refurbishments are also undertaken (and very much enjoyed).
What I Can Help With
I can offer the same services as for other woodwind instruments, the only difference being that any replacement pads and parts have to be ordered in.
When it comes to repair work I will give you a thorough assessment of the nature of the fault and the work needed to rectify it. Whilst I am happy to undertake most repairs, I may recommend an oboe or bassoon specialist for some of the trickier jobs or those that require specialist tools.
