From Piccolo Cornets to sousaphones, no problem is too big or too small. If your instrument has stuck slides, been dropped one too many times or just needs a good look over - I strive to get your instrument back into tip top condition. Average turnaround time is just a couple of days so you don't have to be parted from your instrument for longer than absolutely necessary.
Why wait until things stop working?
An annual service helps to keep everything moving as it should, it also reduces the build up of oxidisation, minerals and deposits that harbour germs and can cause things to seize up.
Every instrument is treated to a deep clean inside and out, felts, springs and corks are checked and replaced if necessary, every moving part is oiled/greased. If the mouthpiece is with it that gets a good clean too.
I have a good inventory of most common brand parts and can usually have your instrument back to you in a couple of days.
Electroplating
I offer mouthpiece re-plating and can touch-up areas of worn silver plating on instruments. Whilst improving the cosmetic appearance of the item being plated, silver plating can also protect from Nickel allergy.
I can also revive worn valves through a process of copper then zinc plating.
